Rat-psody

Rat-psody is a visual novel x rhythm game, where the main goal is to put together a band to pay rent. You play as a 26-year-old rat, who's mother is demanding rent money for living in the basement. Hold auditions for a guitarist and play a song with them - the song changes based on who you choose, and the AI's skill changes based on how much chemistry they have with the rest of the band.

This short demo will put you back 5 minutes for one playthrough, however multiple playthroughs are required to play through each branch.

The demo contains a small playable portion of the game up until after the first song. Being designed for a university assignment, I fell in love with the concept and needed to make it into a real game. However, this was never meant to be a long-term project and no full version or updates are planned. 

Since the game is only a demo with only one band member available to play with, there is a setting to let you experience the game as if you were playing with the full band.
